Engagement Overview: 

These specialists typically use Enterprise Project Management tools to gather and define requirements for business processes and information systems. They may also identify methods to improve existing business processes and information systems, including creating new processes to increase the effectiveness of information systems approved by management.

Required Skills: 
  • Experience with the implementation of Project Server 2007 (or earlier versions) and other Enterprise Project Management Tools.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and requirements definition in support of improved business processes or information systems.
  • Experience in modeling and identification of existing business processes.
  • Experience in opportunity analysis to identify areas to improve business processes
  • Experience providing recommendations to management, based on the analysis by the candidate, to modify or redesign or remove existing business processes or add new business processes in support of efficient business operations.
  • Experience in implementation of recommendations that lead to an improved business model. Improvements must be demonstrated in at least two of the following areas: cost, resource, organization, accountability of processes, measurement of processes or elimination of process redundancies.
  • Experience in recommending to management, based upon the candidates analysis, organizational changes or implementing organizational changes approved by management.
  • Experience in recommending to management, based upon the candidate’s analysis, information system business requirements or modifying existing business processes to effectively use implemented information systems approved by management.
Experience: 

A combination of education and experience is required. Minimum 3 - 10 years as a Business Analyst is required depending on level of education achieved.

Language Requirement: 

English essential, French would be considered an asset
