Business Continuity Planner / Analyst

Engagements range from one month to several years

- Knowledge of threat/risk analysis procedures;

- Experience with distributed and complex networks (WAN/LAN, Internet/Intranet);
- Knowledge and experience in preparing training materials and delivery of same to various to staff;

The BCP Analyst will analyse and develop comprehensive and detailed business continuity plans (BCP), business disruption and disaster recovery plans (DRP) according to specified requirements. Performs in-depth threat/risk analysis and creates reports detailing results of research and investigations.
A Business Continuity Planning Analyst consultant will have at least two (2) years previous work experience performing Business Continuity Planning or Threat/Risk analysis preferably in a government setting.
The BCP Analyst will have experience in at least three (3) sections of the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK), as defined by the Disaster Recovery Institute International, in a team environment.
Experience with middleware and gateways must be demonstrated.
Community College Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or Business Administration
- Most positions require fluency in English.
- Many customers also have a requirement for abilities in French.
Certification at a CBCP or Master level by DRI International or equivalent international designation is desirable
