Required Skills:
The ITIL Consultant must be able to demonstrate that they possess:
- A thorough understanding of IT Service Management and ITIL best practices;

Experience with network and systems management applications including ticketing/workflow tools, monitoring tools, reporting tools, etc.;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;

Strong team player skills with demonstrated technical leadership skills in order to manage and direct teams.
Engagement Description:
ITIL Process Consultants are individuals who participate in a wide range of IT process related consulting engagements. However, typical responsibilities will include:
- Requirements definition and solution design as related to key ITIL areas;
- Implementing solutions including new process components, organizational structures, tools and technology or policies;
- Participation in business case development, KPI and metric definition financial analyses;
- Leadership of, or participation in, the analysis of a client’s current environment and the definition of future business and technical requirements;
- Performance of strategic analysis and development of recommendations in one or more of the following areas: TCO, ROI, Risk, Security, Business Impact, Sourcing;
- Developing, architecting and implementing ITSM solution based on ITIL best practices;
- Conducting IT Operations assessments and developing roadmaps for customers.
Experience:
The candidate for this type of role will have at least three (3) years experience conducting assessments, designing processes, and implementing service management solutions. He/she will have demonstrated project leadership experience handling multiple projects simultaneously, and a demonstrated track record as a team player.
Education:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Language Requirement:

Most positions require fluency in English.

Many customers also have a requirement for abilities in French.
Certifications:
ITIL Managers/Masters Certificate would be considered an asset, and in many cases may be a requirement for participating in the opportunity.
