Project Controls Specialist/Supervisor

Engagement Overview: 

These specialists typically oversee the development and implementation of control systems procedures, as well as prepare and maintain project schedules and assess cost forecasts.

Location: 

Extensive Travel required - willingness to relocate required

Experience: 
  • Working on projects ranging from $1.0 to $4.0 billion dollars in scope.
  • Ability to achieve efficient cost management system.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of control systems procedures.
  • Broad background in Engineering, Operations and Project Controls, and leading a team.
  • Experience in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules.
  • Experience in engineering, procurement and construction work.
  • Proven ability to define responsibilities and dealines for various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to assess cost implications.
  • Experience in presenting project cost reviews and forecasts.
  • Minimum of 8 years realted to cost controling, scheduling, and estimating.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management procedures and processes.
  • Familiar with Oracle and SAP based cost management systems.
  • Working knowledge of PRISM, Primavera E&C, MS Project, Prolgo, Expedition or Icarus preferred.
Education: 
  • Post secondary education.
  • Possession or eligibility for AACEI certification an asset.
  • PMP certification an asset
Language Requirement: 

English essential
