Project Controls Manager

Engagement Overview: 

Project Controls Managers are typically responsible for developing and implementing the project controls functions, in addition to overseeing cost engineering functions, and planning and scheduling functions.

Engagement Period: 

3 month to 1 year contracts

Location: 

Extensive travel required - willingness to relocate required.

Experience: 
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the Project Controls functions, must possess the ability take direction and work independently.
  • Experience working on projects with a value of $1.0 to $4.0 billion dollars.
  • Hire and develop people in a constantly growing and changing organization.
  • Directly supervise and lead a team of 2 to 10 staff.
  • Mentor and coach reports.
  • Oversee cost engineering functions, and oversee planning and scheduling functions.
  • Experience using Primavera E&C.
  • Minimum of 15 years related experience (cost control, scheduling, estimating)
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Working knowledge of PRISM and Primavera E&C.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project accounting processes and systems.
  • Excellent computer skills.
Education: 

Relevant technical college or university level education or appropriate combination of education and experience in cost control, scheduling and estimating.
