Specialized Consulting Opportunities

SOMOS engages specialized consultants for the following types of opportunities: 

  • Satellite Communications Engineer

    Consultants are typically responsible for planning, modeling, and simulating communications and information management systems, as well as satellite operations, control, and security. Their responsibilities may also include ground terminal development and design, ground station operation of the space-based C4ISR systems, and national and international SATCOM services. 

  • Systems Installation Specialist

    Consultants typically work with the solution development team to oversee the planning, design, and evaluation of ongoing operations center projects.  They may also be responsible for estimating resource and cost requirements, and may work with stakeholders and the user community to define requirements.
