Engagements range from one month to several years
The Solutions Architect will perform operational and tactical planning to match business needs to technology options for a solution. They will lead a team of technical resources throughout a software development life cycle. They will lead the development and application of technical expertise to ensure the effective use of the technical infrastructure and information systems.
They will perform object oriented analysis and design of component base n-tier architectures including the use of UML and will perform IM/IT requirements documentation and analysis.
Five (5) or more years of progressive experience is typical.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years experience in operational and tactical problems. They must have experience leading a team of technical resources throughout a software development life cycle. They will demonstrate experience performing object oriented analysis and design of component based n-tier architectures including the use of UML.
The candidate experience must also reflect having performed IM/IT requirements documentation and analysis. The successful candidate must have coordinated more than one concurrent IM/IT project that led to the implementation of defined IM/IT solutions to meet the stated business and technical challenges.
A university degree at the Bachelor level in Computer Sciences or Engineering (Systems, Software or Electrical)
