SOMOS Consulting Group Ltd. is seeking an Intermediate Programmer Analyst to aid in our growing Endeca implementation services. Working with customers and suppliers to understand business and technical requirements, your challenge will be to integrate systems and components to create working solutions for our clients. The work requires a strong understanding of information storage and manipulation techniques including relational database practices (experienced with DBA, data warehouse and ETL-related activities).

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years' experience building data-driven web-based applications (in JAVA/JSP, .NET, ASP/COM and XML) and a willingness to learn new languages and platforms.

Your experience includes search engines, object databases, data mining, OLAP, business intelligence tools, or network performance behaviour.

This position requires strong written and verbal communications skills, and will appeal to you if you are comfortable working independently and are willing to travel.
