New Capabilities and Enhancements Featured in the Latest SMS/800 TFN Registry Release!

Number Administration is at the core of the SMS/800 TFN Registry®, and with the first of two November 2020 releases, we’ve included a number of enhancements that help support and maximize usage for Responsible Organizations. From the addition of new reporting capabilities to an enhanced dashboard user experience, this latest release is certain to help drive business operations and efficiencies!

When it comes to reporting, one new report, along with several updates and enhancements to existing reports are available in the new release including:

NEW Resp Org Change Report:

Allows users to view Toll-Free Numbers (TFNs) that were transferred in and/or out of their Responsible Organization’s (Resp Orgs) Entity ID. This reporting function has the capability of returning up to five years’ worth of data related to ROC transfers.

ENHANCED Unreferenced Templates Report:

Users gain additional information to help better manage Template Records (TADs) with this enhanced reporting function. Pointer Records (PADs) are used to add dates to the unreferenced templates based on their last recorded reference date.

UPDATED Resp Org and Customer Inventory Report:

Search and retrieval functionality has been simplified with the renaming of this report to “Number Inventory Report”.

ENHANCED Number Inventory Report and Number AOS and CIC Report:

Both reports have been updated to include a Call Processing Record (CPR) indicator for TFNs referencing TADs as well as Customer Records (CADs). In previous iterations of these reports, only TFNs referencing CADs had a CPR indicator field.

In addition to updates to reporting capabilities, the November 2020 release also offers an enhanced dashboard user experience via a newly designed tile-based dashboard layout. The new layout is configurable and allows users to rearrange the tiles to make their priorities and data of interest in an order that is effective and efficient for their operational needs. The process is simple and flexible via a new Layout Settings icon that has been added to enable users to set the look and feel of their dashboard.
