Webinar Recap: Your Guide to the FCC’s New Gateway Provider Mandate.

Aimed at helping to stop robocall scams that are internationally initiated, the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC’s) recently released Gateway Provider Report and Order, Order on Reconsideration, Order, and Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking includes several new call authentication requirements, one of which is a mandate that Gateway Providers reference a “reasonable” Do Not Originate (DNO) list when routing calls.

While there are many different DNO lists available, there’s only one list that comes DIRECT from the trusted administrator of the North American Numbering Plan (NANP), the Toll-Free Number Registry (TFNRegistry®) and the Reassigned Numbers Database (RND) –

RealNumber DNO

In Somos’ latest webinar, Somos’ Joel Bernstein, VP of Regulatory and Public Policy, and Kyle Belcher, Senior Product Manager, demonstrated firsthand how RealNumber DNO’s dataset of over 6B Toll-Free and 10-digit local numbers provides a powerful solution that Gateway Providers and U.S.-based operators can leverage to identify calls that originate from invalid, unallocated and/or unused numbers

Watch an on-demand recorded video of Your Guide to the FCC’s New Gateway Provider Mandate – and check out the accompanying presentation deck! – to learn more about how RealNumber DNO offers a one-stop fraud fighting solution that is comprehensive, affordable and user-friendly.
