From Innovation to Impact: Building What’s Next at the 2026 Somos Summit

What does it take to turn innovation into meaningful progress? It starts with new ideas, grows through collaboration and comes to life when organizations put those ideas into action.

At the 2026 Somos Summit, taking place November 2-3 at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C., three main stage sessions will explore how customer insights, evolving technologies and real-world applications are shaping the future of trusted communications. From the next evolution of the TFNRegistry to practical applications of AI, attendees will get a closer look at the people, partnerships and innovations helping move the industry forward.

The TFNRegistry continues to play a critical role in supporting the organizations, providers, and partners that power trusted Toll-Free communications. As the platform evolves, collaboration remains central to ensuring the experience is smoother, stronger and ready for what comes next.

Moderated by Kerry Klesalek of Somos, this main stage session will bring together Christina Walton of NumHub, Heather Barrows of 800response and Sushil Inaganti of Somos for a thoughtful conversation on the next wave of TFNRegistry innovation.

Attendees will hear perspectives on recent enhancements, the redesigned user experience and the path toward Somos Hub. The discussion will also explore how organizations are preparing for change, what they are learning along the way and how continued collaboration across the Toll-Free community is helping shape the future of the registry experience.

Trust is more than an idea. It is built through the decisions, solutions and partnerships that help organizations serve their customers with confidence every day.

In Trust in Action: Building Stronger Connections Together, moderator Bill LaRuffa of Somos, will lead a main stage conversation with Kasey Flanagan of Northwest Federal Credit Union, Joe White of 46 Labs and Joe Yapsuga of IP Transfer to explore how the tools organizations are using to improve operations, strengthen fraud prevention, enhance customer engagement and support more trusted communications. Attendees will gain firsthand insight into the solutions leveraged to solve real business challenges, deliver value and help protect the connections their customers rely on.

AI is changing what's possible in communications, creating new opportunities to improve customer experiences, strengthen security and rethink how organizations build trust. But as these capabilities advance, so do the challenges of protecting the people and businesses who rely on them.

Moderated by Shannon Donohue of Somos, this session will feature Alla Reznik of Verizon Business Group, Craig Lennon of Google and Melissa Blassingame from Twilio for an engaging conversation on how AI is moving beyond experimentation to deliver real-world impact.

From emerging applications and smarter fraud prevention to evolving threats and customer expectations, panelists will explore the opportunities and challenges shaping AI's role in trusted communications. Attendees will hear perspectives on how industry leaders are navigating this changing landscape, balancing innovation with security and responsibility, and preparing for what's next.

These three main stage sessions will offer fresh perspectives on how Somos, customers and industry leaders are working together to turn new possibilities into meaningful progress.
