Melissa Blassingame

Melissa Blassingame brings nearly 20 years of telecommunications leadership to her role at Twilio, where she leads a team of telecom subject matter experts in solving complex challenges, building strategic relationships, and influencing the company’s connectivity products, policies, and programs to foster trusted communications. She is a dedicated advocate for restoring trust and bolstering industry integrity, having played a pivotal role in securing Twilio’s signing privileges and direct numbering access following the STIR/SHAKEN mandate. Her work is central to the development of robust internal trust and compliance initiatives, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Traffic (KYT) programs. She collaborates with leading industry organizations, including CTIA, US Telecom’s Industry Traceback Group, SIP Forum, VON Group, CFCA, and serves on the Leadership Council of i3Forum’s One Consortium. Through her leadership and cross-sector advocacy, she continues to drive the industry collaboration necessary to restore trust and shape the future of telecommunications.
