Somos Branding Toolkit

At Somos, our brand is more than just a logo — it’s a reflection of our commitment to trust, connection and clarity. Every visual element we use carries the responsibility of representing who we are and what we stand for. This toolkit provides the core components of our visual identity, including our logos and color palette, along with practical guidance to help you apply them effectively. By using these tools with care and consistency, you help build a cohesive brand experience that reinforces our values and leaves a lasting impression.

In specific situations, the logo should be presented in different ways. The Somos Logo* consists of three elements:

1. The Symbol 

2. The Logotype 

3. The Trademark

This simple, modular element speaks to Somos foundation — infrastructure and data — while showcasing duality and potential through the connection of the abstract “S” and “8.”  The Symbol cannot appear separate from the Logotype without prior written approval from Somos

Logo Minimum Size:

• Print: 1” (2.5cm, 25mm) wide

• Web: 72 pixels

The primary logo should be used whenever possible. When it cannot, the additional logo variations may be used (Reversed, Grayscale or One-Color).

• Reversed: For use when the logo appears on a similar background color. Available in Indigo & White, and Purple & White.

• Grayscale and One-Color: For use in one-color printing or for promotional items. Available in Grayscale, Black, Indigo, Purple and White.

All logos should follow the clear space sizing rules.

• No external elements should come within the width of a segment of the symbol.

Do not place on or use colors not approved in the Somos Style and Brand Guidelines.

• Do not rotate the logo or add any effects.

• Do not distort the logo size by stretching or squeezing it.

• Keep a “locked” aspect ratio.

• Do not alter the paths or shape of the logo.

Somos has two official color palettes - our primary colors and our secondary colors. The simple and straightforward color palette helps us establish a unique presence in our industry. The frequency of use of the secondary colors is displayed in the diagram to the right.

Primary Colors 

Somos, Inc. has two official colors, purple and indigo, which have become the company's identifiers. 

Secondary Colors 

Secondary colors are to be used in illustrations to add variety and contrast. The blues are used throughout the website and the berry is included to add warmth while maintaining a purple base.
