Achieve Increased Visibility into Text Enabled Toll-Free Numbers

With business texting swiftly rising in popularity, it’s more important than ever to ensure that the platform is trust-worthy and reliable. Here at Somos, we’re committed to delivering the features and functionality Service Registrars and Responsible Organizations (Resp Orgs) require to have optimal visibility into text enabled Toll-Free Numbers. Through the Texting & Smart Services (TSS) Registry, users can administer the use of Toll-Free Numbers for messaging with ease.

The TSS Registry is ever-evolving and in its latest release, Service Registrars benefit from increased visibility and authority into the porting process of text enabled Toll-Free Numbers. Unlike before, Service Registrars will now be able to approve or reject porting requests from another Service Registrar. To fast track the process, Service Registrars will have two business days to approve or reject any and all received Port-Pending requests. Since business continuity and operations is of the utmost importance, the TSS Registry will automatically approve requests that are not addressed during the two-business day window.

The new updates to the TSS Registry were implemented to ensure that ported numbers are proactively validated, updates are appropriately communicated, and users have increased visibility. By streamlining the porting request process, Resp Orgs and Service Registrars alike will enjoy a smarter workflow and optimized user experience.
