New UI and Functionality Updates Featured in the Latest SMS/800 TFN Registry® Release!

Number Administration is at the core of the SMS/800 TFN Registry®, and with our latest release, we’ve included a number of enhancements that help support and maximize usage for Responsible Organizations (Resp Orgs). Specifically, we’ve added updates to the SMS/800 TFN Registry’s User Interface (UI) to help drive business efficiencies and improve workflow!

New updates and enhancements include the following:

UPDATED UI Editable Fields on the NUS:

User experience is improved with the addition of editable fields to the Number Search and Reserve (NUS). While users previously had to navigate to the Number Query and Update (NQU) to perform certain tasks, with the addition of the new fields, they will now be able to update Toll-Free Number data such as Resp Org, Reserved Until Date and Status all from the Results portion of the NUS page.

UPDATED UI LAD Features:

Time and efficiency has been improved thanks to the Label Definitions (LAD) UI updates such as refined search functionality, enhanced upload/download features and the addition of new text boxes. Specifically, the update provides users who utilize the upload/download Excel feature with the ability to spread the LAD data between their own cells, rather than grouping them all in one. Overall, the new formatting is sure to help deliver better performance as well as streamline common operational activities.

UPDATED UNS-SCP Functionality:

Both the SMS/800 TFN Registry's API and UI have been enhanced to support Customer Record Audit/Resend (CRA/CRR) messaging (commonly refered to as UNS-SCP messaging). Specifically, when a CRA/CRR has been sent for a Customer Record, a UNS-SCP message is generated. In addition to the new messaging, the update also provides Resp Orgs with an enhanced user experience through newly added fields of entry on the MGI Unsolicited Notice Control (GUN) page. Users can find the required API calls for this functionality in the latest SMS/800 TFN Registry API Specifications Guide and Swagger UI.

To learn more about the new features, check out our updated SMS/800 TFN Registry User Guide, which can be accessed via the SMS/800 TFN Registry UI** and within the Somos Portal Website*. Similarly, API users can access the API Specifications, Swagger UI and more in Somos' Developer Resources**.
