New Updates to the SMS/800 TFN Registry APIs Now Available in Sandbox!

The voyage into Toll-Free’s future continues with the much-anticipated release of API v3.1! You’ve already seen how APIs are advancing the SMS/800 TFN Registry Revolution, now it’s your chance to see the next step in the evolution of APIs in the SMS/800 TFN Registry Sandbox environment.

One of the highlights of the new release is the introduction of Cross Entity permissions. For Responsible Organizations (Resp Orgs) who partner with other Resp Orgs to maximize Toll-Free Number (TFN) administration, this new feature provides the increased visibility needed to continue to provide best-in-class TFN management and usage.

Want to get a first look at the newest APIs? Your chance to test drive this new release is here! Starting today, Resp Orgs can access the Sandbox SMS/800 TFN Registry API to test the new API v3.1 before it is released into the Production SMS/800 TFN Registry API. Visit the Somos Developer Resources (developer.somos.com) to access a copy of the API specification.

As always, the Somos Help Desk team is by your side and our subject matter experts are available to support your needs. Please email us at help@somos.com or you can call or text us at 844.HEY.SOMOS (844.439.7666), Option 1.

Please note: For Resp Orgs who leverage the User Interface (UI) to manage TFNs, the Cross Entity feature known as Acting As is currently visible on some pages that do not support the functionality. This is a known defect that our development team is working on to correct. For a list of the pages that are supported, please refer to SMS/800 TFN Registry User Guide Chapter 3.2.2.1 List of Acting As, which is available for download in Sandbox.
