It is with great pleasure I announce that after years of hard work and dedication, the cutover from the mainframe system to the new cloud-based SMS/800 Toll-Free Number (TFN) Registry has been successfully completed! A lot of sweat equity went into architecting and delivering the new system and we’re excited for you to start experiencing the future of Toll-Free first hand.

You may be wondering what the future of Toll-Free looks like. From enhancing user experience to maximizing productivity, the new Registry provides Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), a web-based user interface and advanced reporting that will transform the way Responsible Organizations (Resp Orgs) reserve and manage Toll-Free Numbers. It is highly scalable and offers significant improvements in performance that will help you get more done in less time. In addition, expanded data analytics will provide greater intelligence that can help optimize your business operations.

The key to the new system’s success is without a doubt all the people who contributed time, energy and innovation to modernizing Toll-Free. I would like to especially extend a big thank you to everyone who participated in our SMS/800 TFN Registry Pre-Production Beta program. The feedback gained was paramount to achieving a seamless migration to the SMS/800 TFN Registry. It is the input and support of our industry and community that will enable Responsible Organizations (Resp Orgs) to navigate the new registry with ease.

Of course we also cannot forget our internal team and the massive effort they put into making the SMS/800 TFN Registry modernization project a reality.
